If you want to keep your linen products in tip-top shape, follow these simple washing guidelines:
1. Wash linen fabrics separately from other types of fabric. Avoid washing light-colored fabrics with dark fabrics to prevent color transfer.
2. Use a mild detergent. Avoid using harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can damage the linen fibers and leave a residue.
3. Wash in cold or lukewarm water. When using a household or industrial washing machine, keep the water temperature at or below 40°C (104°F). Hot water can cause linen to shrink and fade more quickly.
4. Choose the appropriate wash cycle. Select a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine to minimize wear and tear on the fabric.
5. Avoid overloading the washing machine. Overloading can prevent the linen from moving freely, which can lead to uneven cleaning and increased wear. Use no more than 75% of the washing machine's capacity.
6. Air dry whenever possible. Air drying is the gentlest method for drying linen. Hang your linen items to air dry in the shade to prevent fading and reduce wrinkles.
7. Tumble dry with caution. If you must tumble dry, use the lowest heat setting and remove the items while still slightly damp. This will help reduce wrinkles and prevent excessive shrinkage.
8. Iron while slightly damp. Linen irons best when it's still slightly moist. Use a hot iron and iron on the wrong side of the fabric to prevent shine.
9. Address stains promptly. Treat stains as soon as possible to prevent them from setting. Use a stain remover specifically designed for natural fibers.

2. Factors Affecting the Color of Natural Linen Fabric
The color of natural linen fabric can vary slightly from batch to batch. This is due to natural variations in growing conditions, such as sunlight and rainfall, which influence the final color of the flax fibers.
